Jim Allison has stepped down as President and Board Member of Speed Skating Canada for personal reasons.  As many of you are aware, Jim has devoted many years as a parent and willing volunteer towards the betterment of the British Columbia Speed Skating Association, Speed Skating Canada, our athletes and our many volunteers.

Jim’s focus has always been for the betterment and stability of the sport both regionally and nationally.  His passion and belief of Inclusion, not Exclusion for all participants no matter their ability, physical and or geographical challenges  will long be remembered.

On behalf of the BCSSA membership, we thank Jim for his dedication and support.

Susan Auch has been named to serve as Interim President until the 2016 SSC Annual General Meeting.
